Lyvia was born on the 1st of march 2024 with mom Spitfire and dad Brenin. She was born in a litter of 4 girls. Spitfire did very well as a mom and the all of them were thriving.
When they were 6 days old, a black mamba tried to eat the cubs, resulting in killing one cub and mom Spitfire who was trying to save them. Livya got hurt very badly and needed to be rushed to Dr. Peter in Pretoria where she had a live saving surgery. After the surgery she didn’t wake up and needed resuscitation. Luckly she survived and stayed the next days at Dr. Peter’s practice. After 4 days she could come back home. She did very well, grew up healthy and strong. Her eyes are slightly crossed from the lack of oxygen she sufferd from after the surgery but except that she is perfectly healthy now and we are very proud of her. She is very sweet, likes attention and likes to lay down close by people. If you have more questions about her past, you are welcome to talk to Kim or staff.
