About Us

Saving Animals one spot at a time

Novas Legacy wildlife centre is dedicated to saving cheetahs, one spot at a time. We are a breeding centre and aim to breed a genetically perfect cheetah. By creating a strong genepool in captivity we will be able to repopulate the african plains when the time is right. Next to our normal spotted cheetahs, we also house a few king cheetahs and run an educational centre on cheetah and predator related problematics.
We are located in the waterberg, Limpopo and are home to several other species. Part of our family are a pack of wild dogs, caracals, servals, civet, black backed jackals, bat eared foxes and lions. Next to our captive species we have 865 hectares available for free roaming game species like giraffes, wildebeest, impala, kudu, warthog, zebra and many more.

This place is heaven on earth! highly recommended if you are a big cat lover. one of the best days never forget. Kim and Baart are doing a passionate amazing and very important job: the cheetah numbers are down to less than 7000. Every cheetah counts! the successfull breeding program is very important to save the cheetah. If you cant go and experiance the friendlieness, the beeeeaaaautiful cats and the amazing Kingcheetah by yourself please help with a donation keep this wonderful place running!

Ralf Tobias

The Cheetahs are well cared for and it is fantastic to see them through the eyes of Kim! Highly recommend the Cheetah run!

Loraine Vorster

The most amazing experience of my life. If you love animals and working with amazing people everyday then this is a great place for you. I wouldn't trade my experience here for any amount of money.

Dennis Hill

An extraordinary opportunity not only to do some good in the world, but also to get up close and "personal" with these magnificent cats.

Howard Gutner

I spent two weeks on a photo safari in South Africa in September of 2019 and the BEST highlight for me was the day I spent at FeraCare! I made a cash donation while there and intend to continue my support. There was a deep heart tug with what they do because I do the same thing here in Pennsylvania, USA with domestic cats through a local rescue. Thank you to the entire staff!!
